When should a punch list be completed?
The punch list is normally prepared close to the end of the project, upon the eve of final handover. This is done when majority of the work is complete but there is still remaining of the final payment. This allows the contractor to correct without taking the whole schedule far behind. It comes as though the final check-up before the job is declared complete.
